The Christ Church Schools were established in the year 1870 and had their beginning in the vestry of the Christ Church Cathedral. Our schools have enjoyed the proud privilege of being among the first group of schools affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination right from the time the Council Local Examination Syndicate.
Earlier both our schools i.e the Christ Church Girls’ Senior Secondary School and the Christ Church Boy’s Senior Secondary School were affiliated with the Council. Owning to the overgrowing pressure of the admissions for Indian School Certificate Examination, our visionary Bishop The Rt. Rev Dr. P.C Singh took a historical decision to open up a separate ISC School both for the Boys & Girls. As a result of our Bishop’s great dedication and untiring efforts towards the great cause a new ISC School has been established in separate block. The first academic session commenced from the 1st of April 2005. The Christ Church Senior School for Boys & Girls ISC continued to function with its old affiliation No. M.P.003.
The school has a completely new affiliation with ICSE/ISC affiliation number MP-025 from April 2007 onwards. The School functions under the Board of Education, Church of North India, Jabalpur Diocese. The Rt. Rev. Ajay Umesh James is the Chairman of the Board.
