About Christ Church

The Christ Church Schools were established in the year 1870 and had their beginning in the vestry of the Christ Church Cathedral. Our schools have enjoyed the proud privilege of being among the first group of schools affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination right from the time the Council Local Examination Syndicate.

Earlier both our schools i.e the Christ Church Girls’ Senior Secondary School and the Christ Church Boy’s Senior Secondary School were affiliated with the Council. Owning to the overgrowing pressure of the admissions for Indian School Certificate Examination
